Alston Rivers heard this answer and suddenly laughed.
It was an exasperated laugh.
This woman was brazen to this extent.
She cheated and got pregnant with someone elses child.
And she appeared so righteous.
"Elena Forbes, I thought you were just greedy and vain, I didnt think... you were still cheap!"
But then suddenly Alston Rivers realized something.
"Your real purpose is divorce, right? You said that you want to bring me and Lizzy together, but in fact, you cant hide your pregnancy, and youre afraid that when the time comes, youll be disgraced!"
Elena sat up from the bed.

"Congratulations, you are finally free."
"Obviously I should congratulate you, right? Miss. Forbes is back to being single and happy with her new love." He bared his teeth.

"All the best wishes to you and Elizabeth Taylor."
She gave her blessing.
Alston Rivers did not notice the bitterness in the words.

Elena was startled.
Tears fell.
"Alston..." she called out softly.
She loved him.

Alston’s initiative to kiss her gave her courage.

She asked with expectation, "Alston, do you not want to divorce, either?"
