Groaning, I folded my arms across my chest and followed the lady who I just found out to be the chief maid. While walking with her my thoughts reminisced on how she had growled at me and warned me to be very careful else she will be a threat to me. Well, not like I fear her anyway. If not that I want to get close to the Alpha she wouldnt have had authority over me and she should know that Im not someone she can intimidate. I didnt tell her that anyway.
"Here is the Alphas room. Make sure to sweep and mop it every morning, afternoon, and evening. Make sure to change his bedsheets every morning. You are to serve him every morning, afternoon, and night. He loves taking coffee every morning so do well to always get him his coffee even before he asks. He baths morning, afternoon, and night. Warm water all through. Also, dont be surprised if he baths more than that. Our Alpha is a neat male unlike you. Lest I forget, he doesnt wear any of his clothes twice. So once he removes it, take it out to the extreme. He changes his wardrobe at the end of every week. So you are lucky you not gonna wash. Am I clear?"
"I..I..what do you mean he doesnt wear his clothes twice? Sorry, wh...what about his underwear?"
"I said, am I clear!"
"Y..yes maam."
"Good. Now, get to work."
"Work? Which work?" I asked wide-eyed.
"What did I just say is your work?" She asked glaring at me.
"You said a lot maam. I just want to know what I should start with now. Has he had his coffee?"
"You will find out once you get in. I hope you dont get sacked anyway" she scoffed.
"But..."
"I said, get to work!" She growled interrupting me and I rushed into the room hoping that no one was in only to be stunned to see the Alpha standing by the window clad in just a short brief and had his back to me.
I swallowed a lump of spittle staring at his masculine features and my nipples hardened. Get a grip on yourself, Willa! I barked at myself not being able to take my eyes off him. But I thought he was in the training ground a few minutes ago, how come hes back and where did he follow that I didnt see him? Hes just so weird.
I guess he smelt me or perhaps he felt my presence cause he turned and his eyes landed on me. His face was so blank and horrifying. Shit! I cursed staring at the floor.
"You?" He muttered with a raised brow as if in thoughts of where he met me. "You are the female I saved the other night. Aint you?"
"I..I am Alpha. My name is Violet Willa Pearson."
"I didnt ask for your name. Its of no use to me."
"So..sorry Alpha" I stuttered staring at the floor.
"What are you doing in my chamber. Dont you have some manners?" He mumbled and I felt his eyes on me.
His eyes on me made me so wet that I had to clasp my legs together. "I.. I..am the new maid Alpha."
"New maid?"
"Yes, Alpha."
"Are you sure youre here to work" he muttered cockily as if taunting me.
I mutely nodded not knowing what to say. The first time I felt so tight-lipped.
He shook his head and chuckled. "Ok, then get to work and stop ogling at me like if you havent seen a shirtless male before."
I flushed in embarrassment and started walking with my eyes on the floor and unknowingly bumped into a wall hitting my head on it. "Ouch," I groaned in pain rubbing my head. I heard him sigh followed by the opening and closing sound of a door a little close to where I stood.
Grudgingly I walked to the bed and started my task ignoring the dizziness that coursed through me.

Alpha Aston after watching the crazy female (a name his mind gave her) display what she just did walked into the bathroom without saying a word to her or even feeling pity towards her. To him, shes just an attention seeker who wants him to have something with her but thats not gonna happen.
I know what shes trying to do. And Im hating it already. The first time I met her made me wish I never did. Shes just like all other females Ive met who get aroused at just the mere sight of me. The scent of her arousal that night was so much in the air that it became disgusting. And just now, I could smell her arousal. I just hate females who lustfully throw themselves to males cause they find the males great. Such a shameful act. Gosh!
I know she must be fantasizing about sleeping with me which is the reason she decided to serve as a maid but shes also just a mere mortal and what can possibly happen between me and a mortal? Absolutely nothing. Shes not even my type. Mannerless, unattractive, sulks, he thinks toweling his body after which he walked out to see her sitting comfortably on his bed and his eyes widened.
"What do you think youre doing on my bed?" he asked softly but the venom in his voice made her shiver.
"I..I..wanted to rest a little Alpha" she stuttered staring at the floor.
"Do you always stutter?"
"I..ye..sometimes Alpha."
"So pathetic. Get up from my bed and get lost."
"You mean I should leave your room Alpha?"
"I mean you should leave. Like shuuu! I dont ever wanna see you again!"
"But..I..I just resumed work today Alpha. Please Alpha, I promise not to ever sit on your bed again. Please forgive me."
"Get lost. Now!" he growls authoritatively and she scurried out with tears in her eyes.

I walked out to see the chief maid glaring at me and I remembered her words earlier.
"What did you do? I heard the screams of Alpha."
"I did nothing maam. I only sat on his bed."
"You did what!" She shrieked and her jaw slacked.
"I..I sat on his bed."
"Just go. Get lost you mannerless mortal!"
I gazed at her with my teary eyes and walked out feeling so bad at myself. Its still just so confusing. But why is he behaving that way towards me? I never did anything to him.
"But why would you sit on the Alphas bed" the voice in my head whispered.
"Just shut up. Shut up!" I barked as tears kept cascading down my cheeks.
Ignoring the greeting of kids I walked home, unclad, and strolled into the bathroom still sobbing.
After bathing, I climbed my bed and without eating closed my eyes awaiting sleep to take me away.
