Back to her seat,Lydia was covering her face sadly,exhausted and uncomfortable.
Veronica happened to see her,came over and said,"Did that witch give you a hard time.Take it easy.Shes just jealous of your beauty."
Lydia felt a bit relaxed and laughed,"Dont worry honey."
Veronica patted Lydia on her shoulder,"Its New Year,how about we hanging out with the girls?"
Indeed,friendship was the best and most soothing relationship in the world.
Lydia agreed,"Meet them at that Chinese food restaurant near our university."

It was late at night at a Chinese food restaurant.
Those young girls knocked over a drink and were a bit tipsy,clamoring for Truth or Dare.
Lydia loathed game of this kind,and ended up drinking after a few rounds.
They felt bored soon.When it was Lydias turn again,Veronica just took her glass away.
"Come on,dont keep taking a shot.Its your turn to Dare.Dont be uptight."Veronica smirked."So call a guy who you have contacted recently,and tell him‘I am pregnant.How about we getting married?"
Lydia barely bonded with guys,and Joshua was the only man who she called recently.She seldom contacted others by dialing,which explains why her phone record was all about Joshua,who was addressed as"HE".
Before Lydia could react,Veronica snatched her cell,dialed and put it on the phone.
The other three were holding their breath,wondering how this Mr.Mysterious charmed his way into Lydias life.
Lydia was not in the mood,for she obviously knew that he would ignore the call and spend the whole night with his significant one.
Unexpectedly,the phone was put through.
Not saying a word,the man seemed to look forward her first sentence.
Veronica pointed the phone,hinted Lydia to say it quickly.
Lydias heart began to thump.She took a deep breath,and said,"Im pregnant,how about we getting married?"
The time ticked by,and she could even hear her heart beating in this suffocating silence.
He didnt answer,which made her a little scared.
Lydia felt so embarrassed that she directly hung up on him.
Veronica was relieved,and joked,"Oh boy,Liddy honey,your boyfriend is so intimidating!!"
Others were amused and didnt seem to take this into account.They quickly continued to play the Dare.
But Lydia was in panic and lost interest."Sorry gals,I dont feel well.Im gonna head out."She then left and hailed a cab to her residence.
It took her less than half an hour to get home.
As long as she stepped out of the elevator,she was pulled away and pressed against the wall by someone.It was him,who stared at her now.
