Colin frowned and before he wanted to say something, Lucass phone rang. Lucas was nervous when he picked up the phone and then said to Colin, "I need to go to the Pearl Apartment right now."
Lucas was so anxious and Colin could guess it must be a call from Jenny. So Colin asked Lucas, "What happened to Jenny? Did she suffer from mental illness again?"
"I have no time to talk to you. I need to go right now," Lucas said to Colin.
So Colin got out of the car. Lucas quickly seat in the drivers seat, and slammed the car door eagerly. Soon, the car passed in front of Colin and disappeared. Colin thought for a while and then left.
At the Hospital.
When the servant found Isabella, she had already fallen into a coma. Her face was as white as paper, and her clothe were soaked with blood. Isabella was still bleeding.
The doctor knew that Isabella was in a dangerous situation, and he anxiously said, "The child might be born prematurely. Its not good!"
"Please have a surgery for her right away! Miss Anthony and her baby must be safe!" Carol, one of the servants, was so frightened when she heard this, so she begged the doctor.
"Someone should sign before the operation. Where is her husband?"
Carol shook her head sadly with tears running down her face. Lucas was not and could not be here. The Anthony family collapsed because of Lucas. Carol called Lucas several times but no one answered so she had to call Colin for help.
"If no one signed before the operation, we will not do the surgery. There are rules," the doctor said.
Without Carol noticing, the driver of the Anthonys family sent a message to someone, saying, "Isabella was bleeding, and the doctor said that she might give birth to the baby prematurely.
Colin ran to the hospital as soon as he could and when he saw the blood traces on the floor, he was shocked and worried about Isabella.
"I will sign it on behalf of Isabellas husband," Colin said to the doctor.
In the Pearl Apartment.
The brakes screeched as Lucass car stopped. Jenny hid behind the curtain of her room on the second floor, saw Lucas get out of the car and a smile appeared on her face. She soon deleted the message sent by the Anthony familys driver.
When Jenny heard a curry of footsteps outside the door, she pretended to shout desperately, "I beg you, Robert! Please let me go! I am Isabellas friend and you cant do this to me!"
One maid came to Lucas in a panic and said, "Mr. Ralph, Jenny went crazy when she saw Robert Anthony on TV! She lock herself in the house and cry all the time!"
"I already told you not to let her read the news lately? Dont you know?" Lucas was anxious and did not notice that though the maid was anxious, her eyes were dodging because she was lying.
"If I dont let Jenny watch TV, she will cry. So I let her watch!" the maid explained.
When Lucas heard Jennys helpless and frightened scream from her room, his heart hurt as if it was twisted by something. He knocked on the door and said, "Jenny, dont be afraid. Robert Anthony will be sent to prison, and he cant hurt you anymore. Could you open the door for me, okay?"
"Robert Anthony? It is Robert! Please dont hit me, Robert!" Jenny kept screaming. Lucas was more anxious because he couldnt do anything so and he took a few steps back and that kicked the door open.
When the door opened, Lucas saw Jenny was crouched in the corner, kowtowing in horror. She kept repeating, "Robert, please let me go!"
"Jenny, dont be afraid. Its me. Dont hurt yourself," Lucas comforted Jenny. Lucass heart ached for Jenny, and he stepped forward to held her tightly in his arms.
"Ah...Dont touch me! Go away! Where are you, Lucas!" Jenny screamed hysterically, and struggled in Lucass arms, looking terrified.
"Its me. Im Lucas," Lucas comforted her with softness and patience.
In Lucass arms, Jenny smiled quietly without Lucas noticing and she was looking into the maids eyes. It was obvious that Jenny had been acting to let Lucas feel sorry for her.
"You go away! Dont touch me!" Jenny kept acting and then she pushed Lucas away with all her might. She ran toward the coffee table, picked up a fruit knife, and then stabbed it in her stomach.
