The wedding of Noah Calhoun and Isabella Swan ended in a fiasco, overshadowed by the appearance of Scarlett OHara and her incredibly accomplished younger boyfriend, Edward Cullen. As Scarlett and Edward left the hotel, the other guests, whether out of politeness or genuine sentiment, were secretly laughing at Noahs loss of face, turning what should have been a joyous family occasion into a laughingstock among their social circles.
As soon as Scarlett stepped out of the hotel, she couldnt hold back her laughter any longer. Edward supported her, cautioning, "Be careful."
"Did you see Noahs face? Oh, it was so entertaining. Ive never seen such a dramatic change of expression; he could be in the running for an Oscar," Scarlett said between fits of laughter.
Edward responded with a straight face, "Are you planning to laugh yourself into the hospital over an actors performance?"
Scarlett was momentarily confused.
An actor? Noah?
The thought of Noah with his face painted, performing on stage, sent Scarlett into another round of laughter.
Edward shook his head in amusement. "Forget it, as long as youre happy."
Tears streamed down Scarletts face from laughing so hard. "Edward, do you know that this is the happiest day Ive had since Ive known Noah? Happier than any day before."
Edward looked puzzled. "If you were unhappy with him, why did you marry him in the first place?"
Scarlett sighed, "Ah, you wouldnt understand."
Edward smiled back, "Alright, lets say I dont understand. But I hope youre as happy as you are today from now on."
Scarlett beamed, "Definitely. You know, Edward, Im really glad I approached you that day."
Edward also smiled, "Im also very happy that you happened to approach me."
...
As Scarlett noticed the scenery outside the window becoming unfamiliar, she asked, "Edward, where are we going?"
The car came to an abrupt stop. Edward leaned forward, and the car seats, somehow reclined, brought his handsome face closer to Scarletts. His hot breath was on her face.
Her heart pounded faster and faster, and Scarletts face turned redder and redder, the flush spreading to her ears, the back of her neck...
Before she knew it, her arms were around Edwards neck, her eyes becoming misty, her lips murmuring, "Edward..."
Edwards voice was hoarse in her ear, "Scarlett, I miss you, right now, right here..."
"Edward..."
The transparent car window had been replaced with a tinted one at some point, and a shiver ran down Scarletts spine. She couldnt help but lift her waist, "Edward..."
The sky was painted red by the setting sun, and under this brilliant light, the million-dollar Lamborghini began to rock rhythmically.
As Scarlett was immersed in a sea of desire, unable to extricate herself, the car window was knocked on. In a daze, Scarlett pressed the window down, and a familiar face appeared in front of her. Scarlett instantly sobered up!
"Dad!!!"
