“Nora Shen!”

Nora Shen had just finished shooting a poster and was exhausted as she returned to the dressing room. She had barely pushed the door open when she was forcefully thrown to the ground. “You dare to come back.”

The familiar voice made Noras heart race. She looked up and saw the figure that often haunted her dreams.

“Damon Gu.” Nora was surprised, but when she met his cold eyes, she shivered, “I……”

They were once a couple deeply in love, but everything was shattered on a morning two years ago when she inexplicably found herself in bed with his best friend.

“Cat got your tongue?” Damon grabbed her, his cold fingers pinching her chin harshly, “After betraying me, you dare to come back?”

Ouch… The pain in her chin made her gasp, and her eyes filled with a mist of tears, “No, I didn’t.”

“Become mine again, and maybe Ill consider sparing you.” Damon bit her lip harshly, watching the blood at the corner of her mouth, a hint of excitement in his eyes.

The cold gaze was like an ice pick, piercing Noras heart, “Damon, I……”

“Who gave you permission to say my name?”

Suddenly, Damons slender fingers applied more pressure, and a burning pain shot through her chin. Nora vaguely heard the sound of bones grinding, tears welling up in her eyes, but they never fell, “A woman who degrades herself!”

“I… I didn’t!” Nora stubbornly stared into his eyes, trying to find a trace of warmth, but she was ultimately disappointed.

Over the years, she worked as a model, day and night, trying to numb herself with work.

She couldnt forget Damon and came back, not daring to hope to be with him again, just wanting to watch him from afar. She knew it was impossible for them.

This small indulgence, when she saw Damon, she knew she was beyond help. Even if it meant getting hurt, she still wanted to see him.

“Please, let me go.” Nora whispered in plea.

“Let go?” Damons thin lips curled into a bloodthirsty smile, tightly pinching her chin, “How much? Half a million? A million?”

Noras face turned pale, and her heart ached as if it was being torn apart, “No, I……”

Damons eyes were filled with anger, “Not enough? How much did those men give you?”

He couldnt forget how Nora had betrayed him, dousing his joy when he was about to propose to her.

Nora didnt know where she found the strength, but she suddenly pushed Damon away and shouted, “Damon, Mr. Gu, President Gu, cant you just let me go? Lets live our separate lives! Do you really need me to tear my heart open for you to see that I didnt betray you!”

Her heart was bleeding, how could he treat her like that?

“Since youre back, lets have some fun.” Damons lips slightly curved, as he casually picked up a fruit knife from the table and gestured it near Noras face, “Tsk, youve deceived quite a few men with this face over the years, havent you?”

“No.” She never had a change of heart for those who pursued her; her heart only held one person, but he didnt believe her.

Suddenly, the door to the dressing room was slammed open with force.

“You guys...” The newcomer looked at Nora and Damon in shock. Noras clothes were disheveled, her eyes alluring, which made him instinctively say, “Ill...”
