Chloe Yuan struggled to escape from the depths of sleep, her eyelids heavy as she opened them to a world she didnt recognize. The unfamiliar wardrobe, ceiling, and curtains surrounded her, and even her own body felt strange.

Lying on top of her was a wheatish-colored arm, unmistakably male. Following the arm, she saw a face with sharp features—Grant Qin, her new boss. His usually domineering eyebrows were now peacefully resting on his face, his eyes closed, long black lashes casting a shadow beneath them.
