At one-thirty in the morning, in a bar with deafening music, someones arm quietly climbed onto Elizabeth Swanns shoulder, shouting in her ear, "Little sister, is it worth spending five hundred thousand dollars to buy a role in Jack Sparrows movie that cant even utter three sentences?"

"Absolutely," Elizabeth replied quickly, frowning to avoid the foul breath and said, "Im here for my husband, Jack Sparrow."

Before she could finish, the crowd in the private room, who were drinking, started laughing. Nowadays, the term husband is not new among star-chasing girls.

"Bam!"

Suddenly, the door to the private room was kicked open violently, and the noisy crowd was startled into silence. Elizabeth looked up to see who it was and was momentarily too surprised to shake off the hand that had entwined itself with hers again.

It was Jack Sparrow!

Elizabeths words were not a joke; Jack Sparrow was indeed her lawful husband, only... a hint of self-mockery played on the corners of her lips.

Jack Sparrows eyes, hidden in the shadows, were fixed on the hand that held Elizabeth Swann, chillingly terrifying.

"Jack... Jack!"

He ignored the exclamation and strode forward, grabbing Elizabeth Swann and leaving, his aura as cold as frost.

"Do you really want to be in my crew?" he asked once they were outside, his voice devoid of any warmth.

Jack Sparrow was dressed in a pure black silk shirt that night, reflecting the dazzling colors of the bars lights. His collar was open, a bit messy, and his usually cold, otherworldly face was unusually flushed.

He must have drunk too much; otherwise, the man who hadnt even graced her with a glance in four years of marriage would not be out of control like this, actively seeking her out.

Nevertheless, Elizabeth Swann nodded earnestly, "Youre going to film abroad for a year. This is the only way for me to stay by your side."

"Slap!"

A vicious crack echoed, and Jack Sparrows hand, which had exerted too much force, was still trembling slightly, clenching into a fist as he restrained himself.

He gritted his teeth and approached Elizabeth Swann; she couldnt withstand the violent strength of an adult man and stumbled a few times before falling to the ground. Her left cheek swelled red at an alarming rate, yet his eyes were filled with nothing but disgust, "Elizabeth Swann, stop disgusting me with this so-called affectionate method."

Whether it was the sudden slap or the vicious words, she winced in pain, her eyes filled with deep sorrow that wouldnt dissipate. She loved Jack Sparrow desperately and shamelessly.

As if her heart and liver were crushed, she trembled, covering her face, and looked up, asking, "May I ask, Jack, what kind of method would make you feel comfortable?"

"Get out of my sight." He glanced coldly at the producer in the corner, sneered, and turned back to Elizabeth Swann, "Even if you sleep with everyone in the crew, you will never get into my crew, tainting my movie."

"Hahaha..." Elizabeth suddenly laughed, scrambling to her feet. Jacks words made her feel like a despicable person who would do anything for a minor role in his movie. This misunderstanding was sharper than the slap, the sharp blade piercing her heart directly.

Her tearful eyes questioned, "Am I that unbearable in your eyes? Would I sell myself for a minor role in your movie? Who do you think I am?!"

"Do you know who she is?" Jack Sparrow put his hands in his pockets, looking around at the onlookers, who all shook their heads in fear.

He answered his own question, "The next CEO of MK Enterprises."

His words caused an uproar.

Incredible eyes surveyed the down-and-out Elizabeth Swann. The only heir of MK Enterprises came to the bar to please the producer for a minor role in the movie? Couldnt she just make a movie with a wave of her hand? Was she crazy?

She was quite ill, using her fathers power for the only time to rescue Jack Sparrow from jail and then taking advantage of the situation to marry him, making the extremely proud Jack Sparrow unwilling to look at her again.

The violent impact made Jack Sparrow lunge forward, but the restraint of the seat belt quickly pulled him back to reality. He looked up, his face turning black.

He yanked the seat belt and stormed out of the car.

As soon as he got out of the car, he ran into Elizabeth Swann, who was running over as well. Jack Sparrow paused for a second, looking at her, who seemed unharmed, and yanked her up, furious.

"Elizabeth Swann, are you blind that you cant see Im turning? At a time like this, you dare to speed up and cut me off. Dont you know how bad your driving skills are?!"

"I know!" Being questioned by Jack Sparrow, who was six feet three inches tall, she was angry in her eyes.

"Then do you know how fast you were going! Jack Sparrow! You are drunk driving and speeding now. I dont want to collect your body tonight!"

"Ill have nothing to do with you even if I die." His answer was unusually cruel.

Elizabeth Swanns heart suddenly fell into an ice cave. She should have understood long ago how arrogant this man was.

"Four years ago, you were upset about Will Turners death, drunk driving, and speeding, hitting someone. Whether it was Will Turner or the innocent passerby who lost their life, it would still make you feel apprehensive now, right? But... why cant you forget Will Turner, and you never lower your speed, just desperately, like a ghost, trying to avoid me?!"
