"Mrs. Finch, is this the wedding night you envisioned?" Atticus whispered cruelly, his breath hot against her ear, devoid of any warmth. It was their wedding night, yet instead of tenderness, Daisy found herself facing her new husbands brutal treatment.

Atticus gripped her wrists, pinning them above her head, his eyes reflecting a coldness that sent shivers down her spine. Daisy dared not struggle, fearing for the safety of the child growing within her. Yet, she could not voice her pleas; she was mute.

Atticus sneered, his fingers tracing the contours of her delicate skin. "The child, youve reminded me. How did this child come to be?" His voice dripped with venom. "That night, I was drugged, and you appeared in my room. How convenient was that?"

Atticuss hands moved to her waist, his grip tightening with a cruel twist. "Youre just like your mother, full of schemes!" He spat out the words. "She failed to marry into the Finch family, so now Im fulfilling your dream, isnt that what you and your mother have always wanted? A bastard born of a bastard..."
