Love Spreads Like a Tide

Thunder and lightning tore through the ink-black night sky, as if it had been ripped open by a giant mouth, and the rain poured down in buckets. Daisy Buchanan sat on the edge of the bed, her hand covering her swollen cheek, tears streaming down her face as she looked up at Atticus Finch, who was standing in front of her, reeking of alcohol, and choked out, "I am your wife, Daisy Buchanan, not Catherine Capulet!"

"Do not utter her name!" Atticus Finchs face darkened, and he bent down to grab Daisys jaw fiercely, as if he wanted to crush it.

The scorching breath spread across Daisys aggrieved face, and she suddenly felt the pain on her cheek, where Atticus had just slapped her, becoming even more scorching.

"Take off your clothes!" Atticus Finch did not want to waste any more words with Daisy and bellowed directly, his bloodshot eyes showing no trace of pity.

"I dont want to wear the clothes of the dead! Catherine Capulet is already dead! I dont want to wear her clothes! I dont!" Daisys eyes were swollen and red, and she screamed at Atticus Finch hysterically.

"Youre not just her stand-in actress! You have to wear it if I tell you to! You should have died, why didnt you die! I want my Catherine back!"

Every word Atticus said fell by Daisys ear, making her forget the burning pain on her face, and she only heard her heart shattering like glass on the ground.

"Atticus Finch, isnt my life important? I am your wife!" A loud thunderclap outside made Daisy feel her head swelling, and her vision blurred.

She wanted Atticus to take her to the hospital, but in the current situation, how could Atticus notice she was sick?

"That days play should have been filmed by you, and you should have died! You killed Catherine, you murderer! You wont die a good death!"

Atticuss face became more and more ferocious. He pounced on Daisy, kicked her struggling legs fiercely, and then tore Daisys nightgown off, grabbed a bright red strap nightgown from the end of the bed, and directly put it on Daisys neck.
