Elizabeth Bennets ears were filled with the howling wind, intermingled with the laughter and screams around her. She didnt know where she found the courage, but she opened her eyes and looked at Mr. Darcy. Time seemed to slow down, his handsome and cold face growing farther and blurrier with each passing moment.

In that instant, Elizabeth finally accepted the reality that Mr. Darcy harbored a deep-seated hatred for her!

Elizabeth clutched the bedding tightly, "Her hair resembles me..."

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her scalp as Mr. Darcy grabbed her smooth, long hair, pulling it cruelly.

"Resemble you? Does it resemble your propensity for lies? Or the fact that your name is fake?" Mr. Darcys face came close, his warm breath feeling like a venomous snakes hiss, sending chills down her spine, "Elizabeth Bennet, I will not believe a single word from you!"

He had given her chances before.

Five years, every day and night, the corrosive hatred gnawed at his heart, leaving it full of holes!
