Love Hidden in the Depths of Time

Ive had a crush on a senior for three years, and to my dismay, hes now with my best friend. However, thats not the main issue. The real problem is that, heartbroken and tipsy, I ended up with a man I never dared to dream about, Edward Cullen.

Impulsiveness is indeed the devil, and drunken impulsiveness is the devils own spawn! Now, hes searching for me, the culprit, all over the place.

Its been three days since Ive taken refuge in my apartment, skipping classes is the least of my worries; the real issue is that my fridge is bare. Im contemplating whether to brave the supermarket in a mask and raincoat when Jamie Fraser, the friend who stole my crush, sends me a message.

"Piggy, Im sorry, I didnt mean to steal your man, but Edward and I are genuinely in love, and I cant lose him!"

Im so furious I could smash my phone. The unforgivable scoundrel not only took my男神 but also wants my blessing. I curse them with all my might, wishing their ancestors nothing but true love, generation after generation!

The more I think about it, the more terrified I become, to the point where I fear for my life if I step out of this apartment!

I keenly feel the worlds overwhelming malice, this wicked, looks-obsessed society. Just because Im fat, do I deserve to be single?!

The angrier I get, the hungrier I become. To avoid making headlines as the shut-in who died of starvation, I decide to take the risk.

I put on my trench coat, zip it up, don my sunglasses and mask, and head to the nearby convenience store. Like a thief in the night, I grab a bunch of instant noodles, ready to pay and leave.

Perhaps its my nerves or the fact that Im bundled up so tightly, but in this summer heat, everyones looking at me like Im a fool.

In line to pay, I keep my head down, but the middle-aged man next to me cant stop staring at my face.

My heart sinks. I quickly say, "No, no, sir, youve mistaken me for someone else. I dont know any Mr. Cullen..."

Before I can finish, the meddlesome man pulls off my mask. As I stand there, dumbfounded, he holds his phone up to my face and asks the people around us, "Take a look, is she the one in the picture?"

To my horror, everyone around nods in agreement: "Its her!"

I panic, drop my noodles, and flee the store.

Barely escaping, I spot a Rolls-Royce parked by the roadside in the distance, adorned with the distinctive six-pointed star emblem of the Cullen family.

Just my luck, I think, as I run back to my apartment like the devil himself is on my heels.

My phone buzzes incessantly with messages. Still catching my breath, I nervously open WeChat.

Jamie Fraser has sent a flurry of pictures, all speculating about the woman who had been in Edward Cullens bed a few days ago.

The news has certainly caused a sensation in New York City.

After sending the screenshots, Jamie sends a message that nearly stops my heart.
