Victor Furlong pinned Vivian Reynolds against the wall, his face filled with anger, "Vivian! Tell me, how can I stop loving you?"

Vivian stared at him in panic, "I dont know what Ive done wrong. Victor, when did we become like this?"

Once, Vivian believed that their love was enough to conquer all, only to later realize that their feelings couldnt withstand a simple "end."

"Victor, I dont want a divorce! Please, tell me the truth. I dont know what my father did to make you hate him so much," Vivian struggled, but she couldnt match his strength. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.

With a "bang!" Victor flung the door open and mercilessly threw Vivian into the living room.

"You want the truth? Ask your mother whos locked away in the Brooklyn Mental Health Center!" His handsome face was covered in frost, averting his gaze to avoid caring for her as he went straight to the bedroom to search for the household registration book.

This time, he absolutely could not afford to be lenient!

Had he not suddenly learned that her father was the murderer who drove his father to his death, his attitude towards her would not be so cold.

And even though he knew that Vivian was unaware of everything, he couldnt help but want to retaliate. Since he couldnt harden his heart, divorce seemed like a more straightforward solution.

Ignoring the pain, Vivian got up from the floor and rushed to the bedroom, tugging at his clothes and begging, "Victor, I really dont want a divorce. You can do whatever you want, hit me, scold me, just dont leave me."

Because of Victor, Vivian had lost her dignity. For the first time, she was desperately pleading with someone, a man who was determined to divorce her.

Victor suddenly turned around, gripping Vivians thin shoulders and shouting, "Divorce! It has to be! Vivian, Ive had enough!"

Tears fell from Vivians eyes once again, her heart aching to the point of breathlessness. Victors face became increasingly blurry before her. She clutched the collar of his shirt tightly, "Victor, can we stop fighting? I cant live without you. I cant imagine a life without you. Please dont divorce me, please..."

Victor stood quietly in front of Vivian, watching her cry her heart out.

In a place where Vivian couldnt see, a bitter smile played on his lips. Every time he indirectly tormented her, it was like torturing himself. His chest felt like it was being gnawed by countless ants!

Just like now, as he looked at the helplessly crying person in front of him, his heart ached to the point of breathlessness.

Vivian, since we are destined to be enemies, lets end it!

"Let go," Victors voice was cold.

"I said let go!" Seeing Vivian unresponsive, he suddenly reached out and pushed her away.

Vivian fell to the ground, the hard floor hurting her wrists.

Victor saw this, a flash of pain in his eyes, but it disappeared as quickly as it came.

"Victor, can we not divorce? Whatever my father did wrong, as long as you tell me the truth, Ill make it right," Vivian sat on the ground, biting her lip to hold back her tears, covering her aching wrist with one hand, looking at Victor with hope in her eyes.

"Can you afford it? Ha, Vivian, I promise, soon youll be the one eager to divorce me!" Victor averted his gaze. When Vivian mentioned her father, his heart ached sharply. If thats the case! Then he would make her file for divorce himself.

"Be at the office on time tomorrow. I dont want a secretary who takes leave often!" He left her and walked straight out.

Vivian sat on the ground, her eyes empty, as if all her strength had been drained by his heartless words.

The next day, she went to work on time.

In the restroom, she quietly listened to the gossip outside, mocking her.

"See, I told you the president was just playing with her. Now that hes tired of the game, hes her just the same."

"Tsk, look at her now, whats the difference between her and a wronged woman?"
