I Bury My Love in the Abyss

Emily Thompson looked at the scattered clothes on the ground and walked forward step by step. The rain outside the window was pattering, hitting the window like hitting her heart, bang, bang, bang.

Shouldnt she have known this long ago? Why still have expectations? The clothes she washed every day always had a scent she was unfamiliar with, hair of a different color than her own, oh, right! There was also a diamond necklace in William Andersons pocket once.
