In the dead of night, Nightfall was still ablaze with lights. Darcy Song approached the only private room on the top floor with trepidation, her fingertips pinching into her palm, causing a slight pain. Thinking of the agreement the man had spoken of, Darcy subconsciously bit her lip. Was she really going to sell herself to a strange man for three years, falling to such a low point?

But at the thought of her mother lying in a hospital bed, Darcy felt utterly powerless; she had no other options left. Taking a deep breath, she pushed open the dark door.
