Susan Thompson was completely stunned by the furious Sean Parker. She had never seen him so angry before and was momentarily panicked, stammering her response: "The last time you took me to your house to get some documents, I said I was a bit cold, and you let me go to the room and take one at random."
Sean, reminded by her, did recall such an incident, but at that time, he hadnt paid attention, to be honest, he didnt care which piece of clothing she took.
He hardened his expression and said in a deep voice, "Take it off!"
Susan hugged her coat tightly, not moving, and refused coquettishly, relying on Seans recent doting on her: "I wont!"
"Is that so? Then the coat is yours, and dont appear in front of me again," Sean let go, looking at her coldly.
Susan panicked instantly, asking him, "Why? Sean, didnt you say you liked me the most?"
"From the beginning, I warned you that I could give you anything you want, but you must not cross the line!" Sean sneered, his eyes towards her already devoid of any affection. There was a mocking smile on the corner of his lips, cruel and decisive, "Susan Thompson, from the moment you decided to go to her, our relationship is over as well."
Susan looked at him in disbelief, her heart in turmoil. This man, who had never spoken a harsh word to her since they had been together, was now ready to completely abandon her over a piece of clothing. She couldnt accept it, nor could she understand it, and she couldnt help but question, "Why? If you come out to find someone, it proves that you dont love her at all! Why are you still with her?"
"Our matters between her and me are none of your business to comment on," Seans face looked even uglier. He looked at her coldly: "Do you really think I like you? If it werent for your eyes resembling Linda Lees, I wouldnt have given you a second glance!"
Suddenly, Susan felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She never expected that the real reason Sean noticed her was like this!
"No, its impossible. If you love her so much, and shes your wife, why are you out looking for her replacements?"
Seans body jolted, his eyes filled with complex emotions. After a long while, he sneered and denied it: "No, I hate her, I hate her so much!"
Susan stood there, completely unable to understand this man at this moment.
Just one second before Sean was about to leave, Susan quickly took off the coat that didnt belong to her and handed it to him, pleading and retaining: "Ill be obedient, give me another chance, okay?"
She didnt care who was in this mans heart; she only knew that she was hopelessly in love with him. Without him, she would be like a stranded fish, dying of desiccation sooner or later.
Sean took the coat from her hand but didnt relent: "Lets part on good terms; Ill give you enough money."
Hearing this, Susans mind went completely blank. She didnt care about much else and used her last trump card, "I dont want money, Sean Parker, Im pregnant, I have your child, you cant leave me!"
"What did you say?" Sean, who was about to leave, stopped in his tracks, shocked to look back at her. There was no joy in his eyes as Susan had imagined, but more... anger.
Susan finally felt endless fear in her heart. She realized that her chip seemed to be wrong.
Sure enough, Seans gaze fell on her abdomen, warning her: "One week, youd better solve it within a week, or Ill solve you myself."
This was not a question, it was an order.
After saying that, Sean didnt even glance at her, quickly left the house with the coat.
...
When Sean returned home, he happened to meet Linda Lee coming out of the bathroom, her face pale, her nose red, and dew on it.
Before he could speak, he saw two lines of bright red blood flow from Lindas nostrils. He frowned and ran over to pull a few tissues to wipe it for her, his face not looking good: "Whats going on? Nosebleeds so early in the morning."
Linda avoided his action, pulled out some tissues to wipe it herself, and explained softly, "Maybe its because of too much internal heat."
In just one sentence, the concern in Seans eyes disappeared without a trace. He coldly threw the coat in his hand onto the bed, "I brought back the clothes you wanted, shes my new assistant, the last time I brought her back to get some documents, I didnt pay attention, and she took it."
"Then give it to her, you know, I have a habit of cleanliness, I wont want things that others have used." Linda felt a bit weak in her feet, afraid of being seen by him, so she sat down on the bed.
Sean looked at her: "What do you mean by that?"
Linda looked up at him without humility or arrogance, "Sean Parker, how about I set you free? Since others have come to the door, it would seem like Im the bad guy if I dont step down."
His eyes were dark, and he sneered and asked, "Do you want a divorce?"
Linda didnt make a sound, then she suddenly threw a file bag on the ground, revealing a series of fund transfer records, "Why, dont you want a divorce? But before that, I want to ask you a question, I think my family has never treated you badly, but can you explain what this means? Is the car accident related to you?!"
