Forgotten in the Depths of Light

In the King Familys attic, there lived a madman who would always receive a bowl of rich, meaty soup when he was hungry in the middle of the night.

"Huff... Hot... Hot..."

The madman complained about the heat, yet he grabbed the bowl and gulped down a few mouthfuls, causing Sarah to quickly snatch the bowl from his hands, glaring at him. The man shrank back, timidly refraining from grabbing it again.

She blew on the spoonful of soup, waiting for it to cool a bit before feeding it to him.

"John, please get better soon, okay?"

But the fool just smiled at her, eager to drink the soup from her hand.

Sarah seemed to have grown accustomed to this despair, lifting her hand to feed John another spoonful of soup.

Just as the soup reached his lips, there was a loud "bang" as Sarahs wrist was kicked, shattering the bowl on the floor.

"Sarah, why havent you died with him yet!"

Michael was furious, dragging her away from the attic like a corpse, ignoring the fools shouting. Sarah initially resisted, but the more she fought, the more brutal the man became. Gradually, she learned to comply like a corpse.

She was dragged by Michael to the bathroom, where he kicked the door shut with a "bang." Sarah, with red eyes and trembling hands, began to unbutton her clothes.

On the night they got married, Michael said she, such a despicable worm, only deserved to be tormented by him in the bathroom.

"Bitch, do you want that madman to recover so he can take you away?" Michael said, squatting in front of her, grabbing her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes. "Or do you want him to rape you too?"

It was too much!

Sarah clutched the floor, silent. This man only touched her when he vented, and only then would he talk to her like mad.

"Do you want that madman to cheat on me again?" Michaels words were extremely vulgar, but he spoke calmly and gently, his hand sliding from her chin to her neck, looking extremely tender.

But Michael only had hatred for her, not affection. He suddenly increased the pressure on her neck, making her extremely uncomfortable, causing her to cough.

"Michael, I didnt drug Emily, nor did I give her to John. Whether you believe it or not, I didnt do it!"

Sarah clearly remembered that day was Emily and Michaels engagement party. She was very sad, drank a lot of alcohol, and John came over with a silly smile to comfort her, offering her a candy.

She didnt feel like eating the candy, so she just kept it.

Who knew that when she woke up the next day, Emily had gone mad, and John had become even crazier. She inexplicably became the woman who schemed to have her sister defiled by a madman.

Everyone blamed her.

But... but the man who was now torturing her to the point of living in agony had taken her hand and went to the civil registry office.

She unexpectedly married the man she had secretly liked for many years.

"Why arent you talking, calling that madman so intimately, are you reminiscing about your sordid affair in the attic?" Michaels cold voice hurt her ears.

"Michael, you... you are the one who did the sordid thing." Sarah sneered, and Michaels eyes instantly ignited with anger, pushing her to the ground, pressing down on her, and tearing off her last disguise.

His thin lips covered her ear, and his voice was exceptionally gentle.

"Sarah, I want you to live in agony!"
