"Bella, I feel terrible, just terrible," Emily Warm leaned on her friend Bella Chen, murmuring incessantly.

Bella, straining to support her towards the hotel, comforted, "Emily, be good, dont feel bad, that man isnt worth your sorrow."

"You dont understand. Over a decade of feelings! How could he just betray like that?" Emily choked back tears, her heart feeling like it had been slashed, bleeding profusely, the pain uncontrollable.

Bella was at a loss for words. Today was the wedding day of Clark Spring, and she, as his childhood fianc茅e, was not the bride he was marrying. Anyone would be devastated! No wonder she drank so much.

My friends fianc茅, who shes been in love with for over a decade, married someone else today, and her father just passed away. Its so pitiful. If I dont help her now, shell be so miserable. "What are you two doing here?" The manager approached the two, frowning unhappily. Glancing at Lisa, he scolded, "Get back to your position right away. Wheres Xiao Wang?"

"In the restroom," Lisa quickly replied.

The managers frown deepened, reprimanding, "Even though its late at night, we cant guarantee no guests will come. If both front desk ladies are absent, what will people think of our hotel? What if a guest needs help? Do you two still want to work?"

"Yes, yes, Manager King, youre right. Ill return to my post immediately," Lisa ingratiatingly bowed and winked at Bella before rushing back to her position.

Seeing Lisa being scolded, Bella knew she was next, so before the manager could start, she smiled and said, "That manager, Im on the night shift and its almost time for work. Cant chat with you, cant be late!"

With that, without waiting for the manager to react, she quickly pressed the employee elevator and slipped inside.

She thought, once the manager left, shed come back down.

But unexpectedly, after she left and the manager left, Lisa didnt keep an eye on things. Emily, who was drunk, somehow stood up, pressed the nearby elevator button, and stumbled inside.
