Fated Bonds: A Tale of Different Worlds

At ten oclock at night, a faint glow still illuminated one of the apartments. The phone on the table suddenly vibrated, jolting Elizabeth Bennet awake from her doze. She picked up the phone and saw that it was Edward Cullen.

"Have you received the script? Study it well and perform better at the audition. Ive pulled many strings to get this opportunity for you," Edward got straight to the point.

Elizabeths gaze fell again on the substantial stack of scripts on the table and nodded, "Okay, I understand."

She wanted to say something more, but Edward continued, "Alright, you read the script. Im still shooting a night scene here, and I have a trip abroad tomorrow. I wont be able to meet you and will go directly to the airport from the set."

"Okay, well, have a safe trip," Elizabeth said, hanging up with a hint of disappointment.

They hadnt met for nearly a month, and even the script was delivered by someone else.

Thinking about it, she could only swallow her disappointment, given she was just a lukewarm actress, while Edward Cullen was the hottest star in the entertainment circle at the moment. She couldnt figure out why he had pursued her back then.

After going through the script, it was already past midnight. Elizabeth had a good grasp of the characters emotional journey.

She then searched for the original novel, intending to delve deeper into the character relationships. As she was engrossed in her reading, her phone vibrated again. This time it was her agent, Emma Woodhouse.

"Elizabeth, how is the script reading going?" she asked with concern.

Elizabeth did not stop her search for the original novel on her computer and casually replied, "Ive finished reading. Im looking up the novel now."

"How is it? Are you confident about passing the audition?" Emmas voice carried a hint of worry.

Elizabeth paused for a moment and confidently said, "Sis Emma, dont worry. You forget that Im the professional villainess. What could possibly go wrong?"

However, Emma seemed to be hesitating and after a while, she sighed, "Elizabeth, I heard that the director for your audition tomorrow is Director Gatsby. Hes not like the others, so I specifically called to remind you to pay more attention."

Hearing this, Elizabeth looked at the time and helplessly said, "Sis Emma, youre not sleeping in the middle of the night just to remind me of this, are you?"

"Judging by your tone, you dont seem to take it seriously. Elizabeth, this director is not to be messed with. I heard he has won numerous awards abroad. This is his first play since returning to the country, and the media is all watching."

"Won numerous awards abroad and returned to direct such a play?" Elizabeth couldnt help but laugh, "This uncle is really lacking in taste."

Hearing this, Emma was stunned: "What uncle? Director Gatsby is very young, only two or three years older than you. Dont misaddress him."

Elizabeth put her phone aside and began to read the novel.

The novel is called "Amber Love," a common Cinderella-style romance drama. In summary, after many misunderstandings, the female protagonist and the male protagonist finally confirm their feelings for each other, and then the female supporting role she plays jumps out to create trouble.

However, all protagonists are always protected by a halo, and in the end, such a supporting character naturally does not end well.

What surprised her was that the name of this female supporting role was also Leisurely, just like a role tailor-made for her.

Just looking at the three characters "Leisurely," she suddenly felt a strange feeling in her heart...

Before she could ponder, she was overwhelmed by drowsiness, and then she leaned on the table and closed her eyes and fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, Elizabeth was awakened by the cold.
