In the room, Jane Eyre closed her eyes, deciding to end all conversation. Edward Cullen couldnt help but feel a bit guilty, gently kissing her forehead: "You break off contact with that man, and lets live a good life from now on."
Jane opened her eyes and looked at him, feeling somewhat amused. Edward, how could you suspect my love for you?
Perhaps it was Janes gaze that was too intimidating, Edward frowned: "You know I dont like you to interact with others. What am I working hard to earn money for, isnt it to give you a good life? You, enjoying at home and still making friends with some unscrupulous people outside!"
Jane was truly chilled to the heart. At the end of nine years, it was indeed only embarrassment and quarrels left.
She got up and, not knowing where her strength came from, pushed him out of the door, screaming: "Get out of here! I dont want to see you!"
Looking at the tightly closed door, Edwards fists tightened and loosened, and in the end, he turned around and left in a huff. He wasnt without temper either!
Listening to the sound of the car fading away, Jane suddenly rushed into the bathroom, leaning against the toilet as if she were about to vomit her internal organs.
Ten minutes later, Jane looked at the vomit with blood in it, and smiled bleakly, covering her face. The desolate and desperate whisper seeped out from between her fingers.
"Edward, Im not invincible either. I dont have much time to live. With you like this, how can I go see my parents?"
Jane was awakened by the doorbell. She opened her eyes blankly, the room was silent and dim, she couldnt tell whether this was a sad dream or a lonely reality.
Jane endured a wave of pain, and forced herself to go to the door. However, when she saw the person at the door, she was stunned.
"What do you want?" she asked.
"Are you Jane Eyre?" Isabelle was a bit surprised.
She had seen Jane before, even if it was just a glance from afar, it was still a face that was hard to cover up its beauty even if it was plain.
But now, the woman in front of her had sunken cheeks, and she was like a doll in clothes, without any vitality.
Is that the person Edward was hiding?
Isabelle felt emboldened and handed her something, smiling: "Take a look, this is the child I have with Edward."
Jane glanced down slightly, her heart numb, not only for the child but also for the "Edward" Isabelle called out.
Edward, you said to live a good life, is it to appease me and then have a family outside the home?
"Miss Isabelle, you came to show me this illegitimate child?" Jane said softly, hitting the nail on the head, stabbing Isabelles self-esteem to nothing.
"What are you proud of? Do you know how many times Edward has said on me in the past three years that you are not romantic, that you are just relying on those years of pestering him, and now you look like this, what are you doing to occupy Edward?!" Isabelle said resentfully.
Jane looked at her hysterical appearance and couldnt help but find it a bit funny. Just as she was about to say something, her gaze fell on Isabelles neck, and her face turned pale as paper.
She stepped forward, pulled Isabelles clothes open, and suddenly her eyes were red, she pulled the chain and asked, "Where did this come from?"
Isabelle, after all, had more strength than her sickly body, and effortlessly took the thing back from her hand, saying, "Edward gave it to me, are you crazy poor, and want to snatch things from others!"
"Thats mine!" Jane shouted, regardless of the consequences, pushing Isabelle against the wall, trying to snatch the chain back from her.
How could she forget, when Edward had just started working, he directly used an entire months salary to buy two couple necklaces as a gift for their anniversary. The texture was not superior, but Jane had always treasured it and wore it until now.
Edward, you actually gave our token to someone else!
Jane went crazy, her eyes red, and Isabelle was not willing to be outdone, the two pushed and shoved in the corridor.
"Ah -" Isabelle stumbled, slipped under her feet, and the whole person rolled down the stairs.
When she stopped rolling, she couldnt help but cover her stomach and wail, "My child..."
Jane looked at the blood that was seeping out from between her legs, panicked, took out her phone and dialed the hospital...
