At the bridal boutique, Jane Eyre glanced around and was about to pick a dress at random to try on.

"Wait a moment, bring out your latest collection," Edward Cullen instructed the sales assistant, scanning the available options without finding anything satisfactory.

"Right away, sir," the sales assistant replied, carefully presenting the new arrivals to Jane. Jane looked at Edward, who nodded for her to proceed to the fitting room.

After some time, the white curtain was drawn aside to reveal Jane in a stunning snow-white wedding gown. The petal train dress accentuated her slender figure, and her chestnut curls tumbled over her bare shoulders, an irresistible sight.

Edwards eyes flickered with a moment of admiration, quickly masked by his usual indifferent expression. He turned to the sales assistant and said, "Well take this one."

He then signaled Adam Wilmont to follow the sales assistant to handle the purchase.

After buying the wedding dress, Edward escorted Jane back to her residence.

As Adam drove, he pondered his bosss uncharacteristic behavior. Edward Cullen, who valued time above all else, had spent a considerable amount of time selecting a wedding dress. Could it be that he truly had feelings for Jane Eyre?

"The second young master is really too hateful. Not only did he destroy Miss Eyres wedding dress, but he also stole her mothers keepsake," Adam muttered, thinking about what he had learned from the Eyres servants, feeling indignant on Janes behalf.

"Melanie Hamilton now controls OR Corporation, so even if Miss Eyre wants to drive them out, shes powerless," Edward responded calmly. "The extra wedding dress I had you purchase, is it still available? Deliver it to Jane Eyre before the wedding."

"Sir, how did you know Claire Randall would ruin Miss Eyres wedding dress?" Adam recalled the day at the bridal shop when his boss had instructed him to get an additional dress, which had puzzled him at the time.

"Merely taking precautions," Edward stated, his gaze fixed on the direction of Janes hospital room. His fiancée was not someone to be trifled with!

Soon, the wedding day arrived.

Outside the dressing room, Claire Randall clicked her way in on high heels, a smug smile playing on her lips. She was eager to see how Jane would manage the wedding without her dress.

The door to the dressing room was thrust open with a loud bang.

Jane, turning her head towards the noise, saw Claire and her expression immediately darkened.

"How did you manage to..." Claires voice trailed off as she gaped at the sight of Jane in her petal train wedding dress.

"Is there a problem?" Jane asked, her eyebrow arching in feigned innocence.

"No, no problem at all. Its just that you look so... beautiful today, sister. I must say, Im quite envious!" Claires words were saccharine, her eyes fixed on the sapphire necklace around Janes neck, her hands clenching into fists.

But how? The wedding dress and even the necklace she had recovered! It seemed like the heavens were against her.

Jane listened to Claires insincere praise, feeling a wave of disgust.

"Youre not looking too shabby yourself, sister. Although its a pity you have to rely on your body to get ahead."

"What do you mean by that? I dont understand what youre implying about using my body," Claire replied with a forced smile.

"I mean, Jamie Fraser seems to prefer your... softness, unlike me, who cant even arouse a mans desires," Jane retorted, her words laced with venom.

"Tsk, tsk, sister, youre angry," Claire sneered, her bright red lips curving into a mocking smile. "But today is your big day, you shouldnt be angry, its bad luck," Claire whispered, her voice dripping with malice.

Janes hands balled into fists, her nails biting into her palms. "Today is my wedding day, and I will not let you ruin it," Jane warned, her voice steely.

"You better consider your place, Edward Cullen might be a bastard, but hes still a Cullen. There are many guests from the Cullen family outside, and if you dare to lay a hand on me, well see how they react to you," Jane continued, her voice low but full of threat.

"You..." Claire pointed at Jane, trembling with rage. "Just you wait!" she hissed before storming off, casting a final glare at the makeup artist in the room. "Stop gawking!"

As Claire left, the fierceness in Janes eyes subsided, replaced by a flash of sorrow.

Claires words had struck her like daggers, and although it hurt, she could not show her pain in front of others.

At that moment, she felt a pair of burning eyes on her, but when she looked towards the entrance, she saw no one.

Not far from the dressing room, Adam Wilmont was pushing Edward Cullen.

"Young master, Miss Eyre is quite the tigress. Are you sure you want to marry her?" Adam teased.

"Even a tigress will become a kitten in my presence," Edward replied with a confidence that brooked no argument.

The wedding ceremony commenced.

After the master of ceremonies delivered his speech, the bride was invited to the altar.

With Janes father hospitalized, a relative escorted her down the aisle. She walked gracefully in her snow-white wedding gown, her noble aura captivating the photographers present, who couldnt help but snap pictures.

"Ms. Hamilton, is this your daughter? Shes truly a chip off the old block!" an unaware guest commented, mistaking Jane for Claire.

"Not by blood, but by love," Melanie replied with a smile, making sure to clarify the relationship.

"Ms. Hamilton, youve raised her so well," the guest complimented.

"I have two daughters. Although Miss Eyre is not my own flesh and blood, when she expressed her desire to marry Edward Cullen, I made sure the Cullen family accepted this union," Melanie stated, implying that it was Janes wish to marry into the Cullen family, not hers.

As Jane walked down the aisle in her high heels, she suddenly twisted her ankle and began to fall forward.

"Ah!" Jane cried out as she lost her balance.
