Outside Bellevue Hospital.

Marie Kreutz held her abdomen, staring blankly at the two pieces of paper in her hand. One informed her that she was two months pregnant, while the other was a ruthless gastric tumor death sentence. From heaven to hell was just a moment for her. The same as her marriage to that man three years ago.

Marie didnt know how she left the hospital. When she got home, the night was already deep, and the white moonlight enveloped her as a cool breeze blew gently. She stood outside the villa, her slightly trembling hand stuffed the two crumpled white papers into her pocket, hesitated for a moment, entered the password, and pushed the door into the villa.

The house was as dark and silent as usual. She glanced at her watch; it was nine oclock in the evening, and a sudden sourness welled up in her heart. Ethan, who didnt come home until midnight, was indeed not there.

As always, Marie rolled up her sleeves and walked into the kitchen. Forty minutes later, a table full of dishes was laid out on the dining table. She sat quietly in front of the table, watching the wall clock, counting the seconds as time passed. Ethan would be back a bit later.

The aroma of the food penetrated her nostrils, and a wave of nausea hit her stomach. Marie couldnt help but retch, gently covering her aching stomach. She used to be careless.

The muffled sound of the door being slammed brought Maries thoughts back. Ethan, with a flushed face, walked in.

Ethan, with a red face and eyes full of anger, pushed the woman beside him and violently pulled the tablecloth: "Thinking that these are made by your hands stained with the blood of my parents, I feel nauseous!"

The food on the table was all overturned on the ground, and the bowl of hot chicken soup splashed directly on Maries hand.

She hurriedly shook off Ethans hand, bent down in a panic to pick up the paper, but was immediately snatched by Ethan.

They each held one of the two inspection reports in their hands at this time.

When those cold and fierce eyes saw the content on the paper, he turned to look at her: "How long have you planned to hide this from me?"
