"Please wait a moment," a deep male voice echoed in her ear. Susan Kim nodded reflexively, clenching her fists in determination. Since things had come to this point, and it was her own choice, she had to see it through, no matter what.
Her eyes were blindfolded with a cloth, leaving her in a world of darkness. Shortly after, footsteps approached from afar. As someone passed by, a cool, damp breeze swept over her, causing her heart to nearly leap out of her throat.
A strange male voice suddenly sounded from behind, hoarse and deep. "Let her come over, you leave." The man who had led her here gave her a push and left upon responding, "Yes."
In the next moment, her wrist was grasped by someone. The touch was hot and strong. Susans heart tightened, and due to her inability to see, she stumbled, her knee bumping into something.
"Ah..." A soft scream escaped her as she fell due to the momentum.
The sensation beneath her told her it was a bed. She sat up almost instantly.
The mattress dipped beside her, and the familiar cool dampness returned. Her fingers trembled as she clutched the sheet.
This, this room should only have her and... and... that man left!
She tried to calm herself down. Now that she was already on the bed, any more hesitation or so-called modesty was pointless.
The cool dampness drew closer, and then, in contrast, a scorching heat invaded...
Susan instinctively dodged to the side, her voice more nervous than she had anticipated: "Mr., Mr. Sir!"
The girl was very clean, at least she appeared so. Innocent yet undeniably beautiful, her slender figure accentuated beneath the thin towel.
The mans intense gaze silently fell on her chest. The contours hidden beneath the edge of the towel, rising and falling, betrayed her nervousness, her breathing rapid, seemingly even more so than his.
Her figure was indeed good, so good that any man who saw her would want to pounce on her, leaving various marks on her fair and delicate skin.
After a while without any response, Susan subconsciously held her breath, her heart filled with anxiety and torment, feeling every second like an eternity, restless and uneasy.
"Take off the blindfold." At that moment, a voice with a hint of suppression rang out.
"What, what?" Susan thought she had heard wrong.
The man did not speak again but reached closer.
Unexpectedly, the woman, whose ears were almost burning, took the initiative to pull off the black cloth from her face.
The rough action did not prevent him from seeing her trembling hands.
To prevent herself from backing out, Susan decided to get it over with quickly. She took a deep breath and turned to look at him with the resolve of a warrior facing a dire situation.
Under the light, the man had chiseled, deep features, and his bright, dark eyes seemed to be filled with intense fire, ready to overflow at any moment.
Only...
He...
Why, why did he look somewhat familiar?
Before her chaotic mind could figure it out, her shoulder was grasped by a strong hand.
Pain...
Before she could even gasp, she was pushed down onto the bed!
Then, the half-naked man loomed over her.
His body was hot, his voice hoarse, and his breath was fiery.
"Susan Kim, how do you think Carl Gu would feel about this?"
Susans mind buzzed, and the string that had been tightly wound within her snapped.
Her lips trembled, and after a while, she managed to squeeze out a shaky voice from her throat: "Uncle, Uncle Trent..."
The large hand that was restraining her waist suddenly tightened its grip.
"Carl and I are divorced..." she hurriedly explained, frightened, "But... he doesnt allow me to leave the Gu family, afraid to upset Grandpa."
The frightened and surprised response from the small woman beneath him somewhat eased Trent Gus mood.
Some hot sweat appeared on his forehead, and he forced himself to pull back, but in reality, he only lifted his body slightly.
"Divorced? Why?" he asked sternly, then added with a complex, self-mocking look in his eyes, "Now, it seems, is not the time to talk about this."
Susan took this opportunity to stealthily glance at Trent Gu, seeing that his face was not as dark as before, and let out a sigh of relief.
But then, she felt like crying.
How could she be so unlucky? She had finally made up her mind, only to run into her own uncle. Even if he was just a nominal uncle, it was enough... to be embarrassing.
She calmed down and cautiously asked again, "Uncle, what are you doing here?"
