"Breaking the Chains of Tenderness"

In the city of sin, Las Vegas, at the Venetian Hotel, night had fallen, and Anna Rivers was in a drowsy slumber when she suddenly felt the pressure of something heavy. A strange, indescribable heat began to spread throughout her body.

“Mmm~”

She whimpered softly, her cherry lips slightly parted, her arms instinctively pushing against her chest as if to alleviate the unbearable discomfort. But before she could resist, she felt a sudden chill, which made her eyes snap open in fright!

A pair of deep, piercing eyes were locked onto hers.

Anna recognized the mans face and breathed a sigh of relief, but he quickly lowered his head to silence her with a kiss, forcefully parting her lips and delving deeper.

Familiar with his rhythm, Anna wrapped her arms around his neck and mumbled, “Trent, why are you back so late?”

She had fallen asleep waiting for him.

The man didn’t speak, leaning in to kiss her collarbone...

After their intimate moment, Anna nestled in Trent Rivers arms, her small hand occasionally prodding his chest.

Trent frowned and captured the mischievous hand, placing a kiss on her knuckles.

“Didn’t I tell you not to call me uncle anymore?”

“I’m used to it,” Anna propped herself up on one arm, her eyes bright: “Do you think it’s too impulsive for us to run away to Las Vegas and register without anyone else knowing? Shouldn’t you at least inform the elders of the Rivers Family?”

“Is it necessary?”

Anna sighed.

The Rivers Family patriarch would never allow her marriage to Trent, and mentioning it would only create more obstacles.

After all, she was once Trents niece-in-law, even though her four-year marriage to Sean Rivers was in name only, and she had a child with an unknown father.

She turned to look at the man beside her and hugged him tighter.

The phone on the bedside table vibrated incessantly.

Anna opened her eyes to see Trent Rivers cut off the call, his expression somewhat displeased.

“Why do you look like that?” she teased with a smile: “Is there something you need to attend to?”

He leaned down to kiss her, his voice husky: “Zhang, my assistant, will pick you up at three in the afternoon.”

Anna’s cheeks flushed slightly, turning her head away.

“I haven’t brushed my teeth yet.”

The man suddenly extended his long fingers to lift her chin, his thin lips pressing against hers with a smirk: “Coincidentally, neither have I.”

After Trent Rivers left, Anna didn’t linger in bed. She was thinking it must be evening back home when her phone rang. The caller ID displayed Alex’s children’s mobile number, and she answered with a smile...

At half past three in the afternoon.

A long line had formed outside the County Clerks Office.

Trent Rivers sat in a black Bentley on the street, his fingertips absentmindedly caressing the ring on his ring finger, patiently waiting for his bride-to-be.

Instead of Anna Rivers, he received a phone call.

Assistant Zhangs voice was urgent: “Mr. Rivers, the front desk said Miss Rivers left the hotel this morning!”

Trent Rivers’ pupils contracted sharply, his jawline sharp and daunting.
