After seven years, they finally had a child. Ethan Ray would be thrilled too, she thought.
With joy in her heart, Emily opened the door, but was met with a pungent scent of perfume.
A woman sat on the sofa like the lady of the house, with Mrs. Lee standing by nervously.
Emily approached, frowning, "Who are you, and who gave you permission to enter?"
The woman looked at her disdainfully, "Me? I am the lady of this house, Ethans fianc茅e, and the heiress of the Rivers Group, Susan Rivers."
"Im here to inform you to get out of here!"
Emily felt as if she had been struck by lightning. She had heard rumors of Susan and Ethan, but Ethan had assured her they were baseless.

But Ethan Ray walked right past her, ignoring her existence.
